The new V&A East Museum in London opens in April 2026 on East Bank in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Fueled by the creativity of east London, the V&A East Museum in London is an architecture project supported by the Mayor of London and has the purpose of creative opportunity and its power to bring change.
Highlighted one of the UK’s most significant new museum projects, V&A East Museum in London goal is to celebrate global creativity and builds on the V&A’s long-standing heritage in east London and founding mission to make the arts accessible to all. V&A East is part of East Bank, the Mayor of London’s Olympic legacy project for a new arts, innovation and education hub in Stratford.
The V&A East Museum in London is designed by architects O'Donnell + Tuomey. The building has five storeys and approximately 7,000 square meters, while the Museum will offer welcoming spaces, as well as event types: exhibitions, festivals, commissions, installations, etc.
